You get RepoWise MCP for the Knowledge Graph layer, so every MCP-compatible AI tool can read your code structure. Free does not include LLM-generated narrative context or auto-sync on merge. Free is for personal use; companies sharing a codebase upgrade to Team.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Pro adds the RepoWise Context layer (LLM-generated narrative knowledge: decisions, patterns, tribal knowledge), automated sync on every merge, more repositories, and access to RepoWise Docs when it ships. Free is manual sync only and graph-only. If you want it on autopilot, you want Pro.

What counts as a sync?

Accepted Answer

A sync is one run of the context generation pipeline. This includes both full scans and incremental updates. Merges to your watched branch trigger incremental syncs automatically via webhooks on paid tiers. Full rescans can be triggered from the dashboard or CLI.

What happens when I hit my sync limit?

On paid tiers, we never block your syncs. Usage beyond your monthly limit is auto-charged starting at $1 per sync, depending on codebase size and AI processing cost. For predictable costs, add a CI/CD Sync Pack ($15/mo for 20 syncs). Free is capped at 4 manual syncs per month without overage.

Can I add more repositories?

Yes, on paid tiers. Extra repos cost $10/month each and include 10 additional syncs per month. Scans are pay-as-you-go. Add repos from the dashboard anytime.

What is the AI interview?

Accepted Answer

During your first scan on paid tiers, RepoWise asks the repo owner about architecture decisions, business rules, naming conventions, and tribal knowledge that cannot be inferred from code alone. These answers become part of your context files. The interview is optional but significantly improves quality.

What's RepoWise Docs and when does it launch?

RepoWise Docs ingests company knowledge from Notion, Google Drive, Confluence, email, and meetings, and connects it to the code graph. Anyone in your company can ask questions and get accurate answers grounded in both the code and the decisions behind it. Coming soon for Pro, Team, and Enterprise tiers.

When does Enterprise make sense?

Do you store my source code?

Accepted Answer

No. We process your code in memory and discard it immediately. Source code is never stored on disk, in a database, or in logs. Only generated context files are retained.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from the dashboard. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle. Context files are stored on RepoWise servers and retained for 30 days after cancellation, so you can reconnect if you change your mind.
